Priority Levels

Priority Definition
Critical - Priority 1 (Live site down)
  • Only applies to live (production) sites.
  • Error or problem disabling visitors to reach/use site.
  • Error or problem disabling administrators/editors to reach/use site.
Urgent - Priority 2 (Live site crippled)
  • Only applies to live (production) sites.
  • Significant performance degradation for administrators/editors and/or visitors.
  • Error or problem disabling administrators/editors to reach/use site.
High – Priority 3 (Development site crippled)
  • Applies to both live (production) and development/test sites.
  • Error or problem hindering developers from accomplishing desired task.
  • Problem considerably restricting administrators/editors and/or visitors from using site.
Medium – Priority 4  (General development issues)
  • Only applies to development/test sites, including site design.
  • Development-related queries and/or product feature/improvement requests.
Low – Priority 0 (Issue not yet prioritized)
  • An incident not requiring immediate consideration.
  • More information requested and sent back to initiator.
