Release Notes - EPiDesk 2.04

EPiDesk 2.04 is a minor update and mainly contains fixed issues from previous EPiDesk versions. Refer to the EPiDesk Manual for further information about any of the new functionality in EPiDesk.
New Functionality
EPiServer CMS 4.62, .NET 2.0 and Internet Explorer 7
EPiDesk 2.04 is based on EPiServer CMS 4.62 and .NET 2.0 and now supports Internet Explorer 7.
Check-out/Check-in and Case Assignment
Check-out/check-in and case assignment are now separate functions. This means that the person that checks out a case does not automatically get assigned the case.
Case Work Time
EPiDesk 2.04 includes a new function that measures the worked time per case. The function displays the time spent on each case by measuring the difference between check-out and check-in. It is also possible to correct the time manually for each case.
Event Log in Chronlogical Order
A new log function stores all case events in chronological order. The log is reached via a toolbar button and shows the time, event and the name of the person that has carried out the event.
Send E-mail at Case Close
Select whether or not to send a message when a case is closed via separate toolbar buttons.
New Selections in Operator Mode
20 new selections in listings for views in the operator mode interface.
Personalized Selection
Operators can choose which selections should be available in their personal view.
Fixed Issues in EPiDesk 2.04
- Attachment is not in forwarded e-mail.
- Mail server rejects e-mail with error "Data line is too long".
- Internet Explorer 7 fix.
Issues in EPiDesk 2.04
- Reminder service sends forward reminder e-mail even the case is closed.
