The installation program for EPiServer 4.30 RC2 and later versions will prompt you for a hotfix (see Microsoft KnowledgeBase article
Q823409 for more information). This hotfix solves a few serious problems in .NET Framework 1.1 and we urge you to install this hotfix until .NET Framework 1.1 ServicePack 1 is released. SP1 will contain these fixes and more.
