Q: How do I inherit pages between pages?
A: The properties for a page belongs to the page type which is defined for the page and they can neither be inherited nor inherit from another page. The recommendet way to inherit values from parent pages to children is by the use of dynamic properties. You first have to create a dynamic property in admin mode and open a page in edit mode and click on the button for dynamic properties.

When you have assigned a value for the property the value will be inherited to every page created under the assignet page. Enter a sub page (or create one) and it's dynamic properties. Notice the sign "^" beside the property you just entered in the parent page. This means that the value is inherited from a page higher in the structure. To check the inherited value, hold the mouse ponter over the "^".
If you mark the checkbox "Assign value for sub pages" the value for the property is assignte for every page below in the hierarchy, earlier values will be overwritten. If you dont mark the checkbox the existing values for the sub pages will not be overwritten. The pages below in the hierachy without assigned values will inherit from the nearest parent page.
